UKRPLASTIC presents packaging material that has received the title “The Best of the Best Packaging”
At the 19th International show RosUpack — 2014 UKRPLASTIC company presents the latest achievements in the field of development of flexible packaging materials.
These materials with an inexhaustible innovation potential have high-barrier properties, effectively processed on packaging machines, extend the shelf life of products, environmentally safe at all stages of life.
Irina Mirochnik, President of PC “UKRPLASTIC”, noted that the development and manufacture of such packaging solutions that enable customers to successfully promote their brands, is the main task of the company's specialists. “The most important for communication with the consumer is the external layer of packaging material that we use for high-quality printing and different decorating methods. Appreciation of our products by the European experts for fifteen years, since 1999, confirms that we are moving in the right direction” — accentuated Irina.
This year's products of UKRPLASTIC have received several prestigious international awards:
— “Worldstar Award 2013-2014” from the World Packaging Organization (WPO), which became the 18th victory in the International competition “World Star”, that is an absolute record on world level;
— “Packaging Gravure Award 2013” in two categories — “Plastic films and laminates” and “Metallized film and laminates”. Organizer of the competition, the European Rotogravure Association (ERA), noted the complexity of the work performed and technological innovations of UKRPLASTIC products;
— “The Best of the Best Packaging” from the Gravure Association of America (GAA). Samples of products that the company provided to the International competition “Golden Cylinder Awards 2013” wîn in three nominations and brought to Ukraine the grand prize.
— “Gold Award” from EFIA — “2013 Gold Print Award”, which is already the eighth in the company.
Experts note that the manufactured packaging can be thinner than a human hair or look like a paper bag, while maintaining the functionality and performance properties of flexible packaging material. Modern technology of complex selective application of varnish and a combination of glossy and matte surfaces provides a package with unique charm and premium appearance.
We would like to remind you that PC “UKRPLASTIC” provides a complete production cycle of flexible polymer packaging materials — from granules and inks to finished roll materials and packages. Most of flexible packaging materials are produced by the company under its own registered trademarks: BIPAN®, SOLAN®, ALPAN®, VIPAN®, TWISPAN®.
The company produces 5 and 9-layer co-extruded films and has mastered the production of 11-layer co-extruded films for the first time ever in the world practice. Laminated materials are produced using coextruded, solvent, solventless two-and three-layer inline lamination. Plasma treatment and vacuum metallization of films is carried out. The enterprise has created a modern printing facility that has no equals. There are 10 −11-colour rotogravure and flexographic printing machines, reference-digital inspection systems, and installations for controlling of printing quality. Electronic design, digital and laser technologies for prepress processes, stochastic screening, ultraviolet drying of printing inks and lacquers are also applied.
