The Ust-Ilimsk Mill of OJSC Ilim Group has completed the main stage of its RUB 60 million investment project aimed to replace and repair boiler turbine shop equipment. Project implementation will ensure reliable operation of the heat and electrical energy generation equipment.

The main stage of the project included replacement of the live steam piping. In 2012, the project received a favorable expert review and a Rostekhnadzor permit. The Mill replaced several piping sections in 2012 and more than 300 meters of various diameter pipes in 2013. In addition to the replacement of the piping, the Mill also performed technical diagnostics and current repair of boilers, and other work.

The project will be fully completed in September 2013 after replacement of a distribution header in the turbine area.
