Pearlfisher excels with 5 DBA Design Effectiveness Awards at the 2012 Ceremony in London!

Pearlfisher wins 5 DBA Design Effectiveness Awards for 2012, being the only agency to pick up 2 Gold awards. Awards include, Bronze for Heinz Taste of Home, Silver for ambient juice brand Cawston Press, Gold for Nordic smoothie brand Froosh, and Gold for breakfast brand MOMA! And a Gold award for British Export design for Froosh!

The 16th of February saw the UK design industry together on mass to celebrate the annual Design Business Associations Design Effectiveness Award winners. The results of the 2012 awards marks a record breaking 10th year in succession for Pearlfisher’s design effectiveness success.

The annual Design Effectiveness Awards, hosted by the DBA, is the principal award scheme that uses commercial data as a key judging criteria and the awards set the gold standard for commercial success within the design industry globally.

Pearlfisher has received a Gold award for Froosh (brand identity under £100k), a Bronze award for Heinz Taste of Home (packaging, branded food), a Silver award for Cawston Press (brand identity under £100k) and a Gold award for MOMA! (packaging, branded food). Importantly, the agency also won a Gold award for British Export design for Froosh.

Following its redesign, Froosh has seen a 107% increase in total volume sales across the Nordics, making Froosh the number 1 smoothie brand in the region. MOMA! doubled its overall business growth and wholesale value and volume grew by 200%. Heinz Taste of Home launched into the savoury pots market with a new design and overtook all established brands. Similarly, Cawston Press achieved phenomenal success following its redesign with a sales increase of 249%.
