The Supervisory Board of NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL AG has extended the contracts of the three Executive Board members.

Ralph Landwehr, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Executive Board, Andreas Picolin, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Vice Chairman of the Executive Board, and Andreas Busacker, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Member of the Executive Board, will continue to run the international film manufacturer and converter in the next five years. The Supervisory Board pursues a policy of continuity in terms of the Management and relies on the extensive experience of the three Members of the Board.

Ralph Landwehr emphasizes the focused continuation of the existing strategy: "Our main objectives will remain profitable growth and the creation of sustainable value. The focus will be on expanding our leading position in innovation and technology and on strengthening our business in the core markets and the most important growth regions – Asia, North America, and Eastern Europe.”

About 3,000 employees work for NORDENIA worldwide, more than 1,200 of them in the German regions of Münsterland and Oldenburger Münsterland. NORDENIA manufactures films and packaging for the markets of Hygiene, Food, Petcare & Garden Products, Cosmetics & Healthcare Products, and Detergents & Cleansing Agents, as well as for industrial applications and the converting industry in 15 plants on three continents.

Ralph Landwehr, CEO & Chairman of the Executive Board
Since 1997 Ralph Landwehr has been a member of the Executive Board of NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL AG, in 2001 he has been appointed as the CEO (Chief Executive Officer). His contract was extended until 30.06.2016. In his role he is responsible for group strategy and the Consumer Flexible Packaging Division, Customer Relations, Research and Development, Human Resources, Corporate Communication and Investor Relations. Previously, Ralph Landwehr was Managing Director at the NORDENIA plant in Szada, Hungary, from 1995 to 1996 and Managing Director at the NORDENIA plant in Halle, Germany, from 1996 to 1997.

Andreas Picolin, COO & Member of the Executive Board / Vice Chairman
Andreas Picolin has been a member of the Executive Board at NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL AG since 2001 and has been Vice Chairman since 2004. His contract was also extended until 30.06.2016. As COO (Chief Operating Officer), he is responsible for the Advanced Films & Components Division, Asian Market Development as well as Strategic Raw Materials Purchasing. Before his appointment as a member of the Executive Board he was Managing Director at the subsidiary NORDENIA DEUTSCHLAND Steinfeld, Germany, from 1993 to 2001. Andreas Picolin joined NORDENIA INTERNATIONAL AG in 1991 as Executive Associate to the Chairman of the Board.

Andreas Busacker, CFO & Member of the Executive Board
Andreas Busacker holds the position as the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) since 2001 and has been appointed as a member of the Executive Board since 2004. The contract of Andreas Busacker was extended until 30.06.2017. He is responsible for the divisions Finance, Accounting, Legal and Tax, Information and Management Systems, Process Engineering as well as Strategic Purchasing Machines and Equipment. From 1996 to 2004 he held the positions of Group Treasurer and Head of Finances.
