Organic Vodka Group opens factories in Russia
Organic Vodka Group company, Russian representative of the Finnish producer of alcohol and soft drinks напитков Saimaa Beverages Oy Ltd, opens the production of organic vodka DROVA at the Nizhnelomovsky distillery factory. It belongs to the LLC "Penza United Distilleries." On the first stage the production volume will reach approximately 1000000 decaliters per year. The company expects the product to take 7.5% of Russian low premium vodka segment in 2.5 years.
Nizhnelomovsky distillery factory won Organic Vodka Group (OVG) tender in which 14 biggest factories producing alcohol drinks took part. The factory finished in 2011 complex reconstruction process and today it's one of the major production sites in its field. One of the major criteria taken into consideration was willingness of Nizhnelomovsky distillery factory staff to follow organic production principles.
The vodka DROVA production will be done basing on the local ingredients, the quality and organic standards of which are confirmed by the corresponding research and partnership contracts. "We have built the whole production chain on our own initiative beginning from the agricultural producers that supply us with wheat for alcohol production and finishing with the artesian well, from which Nizhnelomovsky distillery factory takes water,"- tells Sergey Kleschukov, Director General of Organic Vodka Group. – "Our aim is to form brand group that meets tastes and tones of all customer types. The majority of them are positive about the Finnish technologies and European but they also expect that vodka – originally Russian product – would be produced in Russia. That's why besides the main factory in Lappenranta we open production in Nizhny Lomov.
In the near future under auspices of Saimaa Beverages Oy specialists at Nizhnelomovsky distillery factory Finnish quality control system will be introduced. SBO representatives will be permanently at the factory. "We understand that for organic goods production high quality natural ingredients and production traditions are important. Respect for the product, customers and, what's most important, environment matters.
