With numerous innovations covering all areas of food, medical and industrial packaging MULTIVAC will once again be demonstrating its innovative strength and technological leadership at Interpack 2011. MULTIVAC will also be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2011.

Without revealing too much yet, we can give a small glimpse of the MULTIVAC stand at Interpack 2011, the leading exhibition for the packaging industry: On the company's 50th anniversary MULTIVAC will be presenting a range of new models in traysealers, thermoforming packaging machines and chamber machines as well as in labelling, coding and automation equipment. With these innovations MULTIVAC is reacting among other things to current trends in the packaging sector. Consumers are for example increasingly asking for packs which have a greater degree of convenience. The trend towards smaller batch sizes is also on the rise.

As Valeska Haux, Vice President of Corporate Marketing at MULTIVAC, reveals " With traysealers we will be extending our product range with some small and highly cost effective compact models as well as with some high performance machines".

MULTIVAC will also further complement its product portfolio in thermoforming packaging machines and will be exhibiting some new models in this sector. In addition, through its integration of labelling, coding, inspection and handling equipment, MULTIVAC will be demonstrating its competence in complete line systems in the areas of automated thermoforming packaging machines and traysealers.

Also to be shown for the first time at Interpack 2011 is a thermoforming packaging machine which is systematically conceived in line with the MULTIVAC Clean Design concept and which therefore meets the demands of the medical device industry for cleaning capability and process reliability.

Also represented on the MULTIVAC stand will be MULTIVAC Marking & Inspection. The daughter company is positioning itself as the MULTIVAC centre of excellence for labelling and coding technology and is a competent partner for reliable packaging which meets the requirements of the appropriate quality standards.

MULTIVAC will also be exhibiting pioneering innovations in the area of food preservation. The packaging specialist underlines once again its technological leadership in the food packaging sector.
