From 2010 onwards, Sandora LLC to produce Pepsi and 7-UP brands in its own facilities, sell & distribute across Ukraine.

Slavutich, Carlsberg Group production & distribution of PepsiCo brands over the last 12 years has provided a solid foundation for future development.

The PepsiCo-Slavutich, Carlsberg Group partnership has performed well, delivering a significant increase in cola market share over the last three years. Since Sandora’s acquisition by PAS and PepsiCo in 2007, Sandora has begun to actively develop its strategic interests in the broadening Ukrainian beverage market. A further continuation of this is using its expanding production and distribution facilities to produce & sell PepsiCo beverages.

General Director of LLC Sandora Neil Sturrock: “The transition of PepsiCo brands to Sandora is an important part of cementing the PepsiCo-Sandora integration and will strengthen the company’s position on the Ukrainian beverages market. The critical element of the integration strategy is launching PepsiCo-owned brands on the Ukrainian market. The process started in summer 2008 with Lipton Ice Tea launch, followed by the energy drink Adrenaline Rush in early 2009. Since the beginning of the year Sandora has already been the official distributor of PepsiCo and 7Up in Odessa, Kherson and Mykolaev regions and, based on the success in those regions we are very optimistic about taking over the whole country in 2010. June 15th saw the opening of a first CSD production line at Sandora’s production plant #2 in Meshkovo-Pogorelovo village which is now used for the production of the company’s new local CSD brand FruTonus.
