Sonoco to Increase Prices on Tube and Core Products
Sonoco, one of the largest diversified global packaging companies, will implement a minimum 5 percent increase on all of its tube and core products shipped in the United States and Canada, it was announced today by John Colyer, Sonoco's vice president, Industrial Products North America.
The price increase, which will be in addition to an energy surcharge announced in June, will become effective September 15, 2008.
"The price increase reflects recent increases in paper and other raw material costs," said Colyer.
