Rexam gives Cappy a fresh new look with Illustration Impact
Rexam, the world’s leading beverage can maker, has teamed up with customer The Coca-Cola Company’s juice brand Cappy to launch a striking new high definition can design in the Turkish market using Illustration Impact.
Illustration Impact, Rexam’s unique printing technique, enables brands to be shown on cans to the best of their ability. It means stronger text differentiation, better quality print and it brings graphics on cans to life in a completely new way – allowing customers to make the most of their cans and create maximum impact.
Already an established juice brand in Turkey, Cappy has used Illustration Impact to create a new look can for its juice drink which really stands out on the shelf. The crisp and detailed can design portrays the quality and freshness of the drink inside.
Rexam has been working with Cappy since 2004, and has conducted many trials using Illustration Impact. Gülay Doğan, Packaging and Graphics Manager at Coca-Cola Turkey Business Unit, explains; “We believe that packaging is one of our most important communication tools, and so we give great importance to printing quality and visual impact. When the time came to update the Cappy design, the obvious choice for us was to use Illustration Impact.”
