Coca-Cola HBC Eurasia, an affiliate of U.S.-based Coca-Cola Company, has launched a third beverage producing line at its plant in St. Petersburg, Nikos Kalaitzidakis, the affiliate's regional general manager, told reporters Wednesday.

The company invested 20 million euros in the construction of the line, and also in the enlargement of warehouse and office facilities at the plant, Kalaitzidakis said.

The annual production capacity of the entire plant is expected to double to 40 million decaliters with the addition of the third line, which has a capacity of more than 20 million decaliters, he said.

Coca-Cola HBC Eurasia operates in 28 countries. The company has 13 beverage plants in Russia and over 60 distribution centers.
