Container aimed at reusable packaging market
A new lighter reusable container from Linpac is designed for blow molded bottles, PET preforms, snack foods and vacuum formed trays. With the emphasis on environmentally-friendly packaging by consumers and regulators, increasing costs for recycling have led more and more companies to turn to reusable containers to transport their products.
Linpac's Ropak Industry Standard container is designed to be used in warehousing, manufacturing, transportation, distribution and merchandising as replacements for single trip paper, cardboard and metal packaging. Engineered to be lighter in tare weight than standard Ropak containers, the new containers offer capacities up to 680.4 kg. This makes them ideal for the storage and transportation of a variety of lighter weight to volume products.
When filled with a static load, the Industry Standard containers can be stacked up to six level hight. When empty, the containers' sidewalls collapse for compact storage and return shipment. The 25 in height container collapses to a height of 13.1 in. The 34 in. height container also collapses to a height of 13.1 in. The container is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and copolymer polypropylene (CPP).
