AptarGroup (USA) has acquired French fragrance and cosmetic packaging components manufacturer MBF Developpement for around USD 53m, including USD 43m in cash and USD 10m in assumed debt. MBFґs technology includes advanced moulding capabilities as well as decoration and varnishing of plastic components. The company has annual sales of around USD 52m. AptarGroup manufactures a wide range of dispensing systems for the personal care, fragrance/cosmetic, pharmaceutical, household and food/beverage markets.
