The IMG group will reinforce its leading position as main shareowner of La Seda de Barcelona, considering the integration of Selenis Italia and Selenis Portugal within the La Seda group.

This operation will be an important step further for the group' strategy towards the consolidation of the PET Iberian market. The IMG group and the La Seda board are studying the synergies resulting from this operation. Together, La Seda, Selenis Italia (ex-Aussapol) and Selenis Portugal, will form the second PET group in Europe.

The leadership and consolidation of the PET European market remains the first goal for the IMG group, combining organic growth with acquisitions.
