Commercial vehicles presented at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds

The COMTRANS 2023 International Trade Fair for Commercial Vehicles opened yesterday at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds. This is the largest international show of commercial vehicles in Russia that displays trucks, LCVs, large and small buses, special motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, spare parts, and components.

The show is organised by ITEMF Expo, a joint venture of two leading exhibition organisers ITE Group and Gefera Media, and the Association of Russian Automakers (OAR).

The event has been held since 2000 on odd-numbered years. COMTRANS is traditionally supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Ministry of Transport, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Moscow Deptrans, the Moscow Agglomeration Transport Association, the International Road Transport Union (IRU), the Association of International Road Carriers (ASMAP), and other professional associations.

All leading Russian manufacturers take part in COMTRANS 2023: KAMAZ, GAZ Group, Ural, and MAZ. Other exhibitors include Daewoo Truck, UNITRUCK, Grunwald, Interpricep, Itelma, KSC Group, Avtopribor, Promteh NN, August, Avtokama, Rosneft, TerraFrigo, etc.

One of the key events will be the award ceremony of the most prestigious automotive competition in Russia, established by the Za Rulem publishing house, – the Za Rulem Grand Prix for commercial vehicles.

The show’s conference programme – COMTRANS ARENA – has been prepared jointly with the Moscow Agglomeration Transport Association. Speakers and moderators will be leading experts of the automotive and transport industry, heads of manufacturing companies, and representatives of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Ministry of Transport, and other state-run organisations.

COMTRANS 2023 is open until 8 September.
