Henkel announces 2003-2004 investments in Russia

In 2003-2004 German Henkel will invest RUR550mln in Russia, Cristian Poshik, General Manager of the Detergents/household cleaners department of Henkel-Era, said at a press-conference in Tosno. RUR1.5bln was invested in the Henkel-Era over the last ten years. In 2003 the basic investment project of Henkel - Era was a new liquid detergents line and the launch of production of detergents in polyethylene packing. The plant produces about 80,000 tons of products per year, which are exported to Baltic states, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
