Agroprodmash 2022 opened at Expocentre Fairgrounds
The 27th edition of the International Exhibition for Equipment, Technologies, Raw Materials and Ingredients for the Food Processing Industry – Agroprodmash 2022 opened at Expocentre Fairgrounds. The exhibition is organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, under auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The exhibition will present the latest Russian developments, as well as equipment, technologies and ingredients from leading manufacturers from Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Iceland, India, Italy, Ireland, Japan, China, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Republic of Korea, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, the USA.

Agroprodmash 2022 will bring together 577 companies, 81 of which will be exhibiting for the first time. Virtually every seventh exhibitor is a newcomer to the exhibition. A significant proportion of the exhibitors (505 companies) is Russian companies, 216 of which are manufacturing companies.
Group stands of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Altai and Krasnodar Krais, and Penza, Saratov, Tver and Voronezh Oblasts are presented at Agroprodmash 2022.
The exhibition is divided into 25 thematic salons contributing to the efficiency of exhibitors and visitors. Visitors can see equipment in action, learn about new technologies and receive detailed advice. Technical experts and company managers are on hand at the stands to discuss technical and commercial issues, as well as equipment selection opportunities.
The official opening ceremony was attended by Sergey Mitin, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management, Artyom Kiryanov, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Economic Policy, Sergey Lisovsky, member of the State Duma Committee on Agrarian Issues, Elena Dybova, Vice President of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Maria Elkina, Director of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Road Construction Machinery of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Vladimir Skvortsov, Director of the Department of Food and Processing Industry of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, Alexey Vyalkin, Director General of EXPOCENTRE AO, and others.
Sergey Mitin said that today the agricultural industry of our country is the most dynamically developing sector of the economy. This year's record harvest needs to be processed and delivered to the consumer in a quality that meets modern requirements. 270 large Russian production companies are engaged in this, and most of them are present at the exhibition.
Artyom Kiryanov said that year after year the best forces of the country, which ensure food security of the country and provide people with bread, gather at Expocentre Fairgrounds.
Sergey Lisovsky thanked the farmers who, in spite of the economic difficulties, had a record harvest. This harvest poses challenges - how to preserve it, how to implement it and how to give farmers a decent price for the grain and for their great work.

Elena Dybova stressed that the exhibition featured exhibitors not only from Russia, but also from friendly and unfriendly countries. This shows that business ideas are often outside politics. When politics does not interfere with economy, business wants to work, develop and be creative.
Maria Elkina drew attention to the extensive business programme, which will enable producers to communicate with authorities, each other and with consumers. To discuss problems and, most importantly, to set tasks to be solved in the near future.
Vladimir Skvortsov read out a greeting from the Minister of Agriculture and said that the Ministry continues to systematically support the agro-industrial sector in all areas to achieve food security.
Alexey Vyalkin thanked the exhibitors for their participation in the exhibition and assured that the organisers would do their best to create comfortable conditions for them to work effectively at the exhibition.
The exhibition is open until October 14.
