RusVinyl opens a PVC development center

On the 19th of May RusVinyl opened a PVC development center – a complex research laboratory which will foster development of customers technical support possibilities of the company in particular and development of the Russian polymer processing market overall.

The main tasks of the center include development of new and optimization of properties of existing PVC goods, searching for new applications, expansion of export potential of domestic polymer-based products and supporting import substitution projects for imported analogues of PVC products, implementation of sustainable development and recycling projects for the goods which lifetime already finished.

The modern equipment allows to the specialists of the center to cover all methods of research and means of PVC processing, including simulation of production chain of finished goods starting from development of the optimum recipe until getting a finished product on an industrial trial line with the best balance of production cost and consumer properties. The expert support of the customers also includes searching for and elimination of reasons for potential issues in PVC processing using laboratory and industrial equipment of the Center, improvement and adaptation of production processes on the processor’s side.
