Kraft Foods boosts confectionery output
Kraft Foods, one of the world's largest food makers, will start to produce Milka chocolate in Russia. It will be produced at a Vladimir region-based factory that belongs to Kraft Foods Russian branch - ZAO Kraft Foods Rus. The company increased confectionery output in Russia by 10%, Vladimir Fomichev, Director General of Kraft Foods Rus, said on Feb 18, 2004. The company successfully developed chocolate production, its share on the Russian market of chocolate bars made up 26%. Milka sales in Russia grew 3.5-fold in 2003, the Vedomosti newspaper reported.
