Time to market ‘Vanish’es

To get on the bandwagon of oxygen-action cleaners, Reckitt Benckiser selected polypropylene cups, injection-molded and decorated by RPC Containers Blackburn for its new Vanish Oxi Action.

Sold in Europe, the fabric care product is designed specifically to care for large stains.

The tapered-to-nest white PP cups sell in 500-mL and 1-L product sizes. They’re direct-printed by RPC in several colors, including the Vanish signature pink, which is also the color of the overcap. Because of the special manufacturing technique used for the product, it was produced at a specialized plant in Austria. RPC had to make its first delivery under a tight timetable, and it’s now shipping about 400,000 each month to meet demand.
