SIBUR exhibits at the ChinaPlas 2016 international exhibition
At the exhibition SIBUR presented a range of polypropylene (PP) homopolymer incorporated products already supplied to the Chinese market, such as grades used in the production of BOPP-films and non-woven materials, and for injection moulding.
PP-H030-GP, PP-H080-GP and PP-H120-GP grades feature high fluidity, an optimal stabilization package and balanced physical and mechanical properties. PP-H040-GP and PP-H060-GP grades feature middle fluidity, an optimal stabilization package and balanced physical and mechanical properties. These grades can be used for injection moulding and producing composite materials.
PP-H031-BF grade is characterized by standard molecular weight distribution, medium melt flow rate, balanced physical and mechanical properties and is recommended for producing biaxially-oriented films, and for clear and metallised food and clothes packaging.
China is an important market for SIBUR. The Company sells a wide range of products to the Chinese market and its sales of polymers account for more than 86% of SIBUR’s total sales volumes to the region.
Sergey Komyshan, Executive Director of SIBUR said: “China remains one of SIBUR’s key export markets where we have increased our sales volumes of polymers last year attributable to recent expansion of our capacities in Tobolsk. We see the increasing demand from Chinese market in polymers, and our interest in further expansion there will grow with the completion of polyolefin ZapSibNeftekhim project in 2020.”
