MOSCOW -- In 2000 Holding Russky Aluminum invested about USD 3.5 million in foil mill Russian-Armenia Armenal , based on Kanakersky aluminum plant.
In further investment volume increase to USD 7,5 million. In 2000 Armenal produced 1268 tons of foil and other production's sorts. The company produces foil for packing food at aircraft.
Germany, Israel and Lebanon interest in purchase this foil. The company has installed foreign high quality equipment, allowing to be granted by international standard ISO 9000. Currently the main sale market of the company are: Iran, Turkey, United Arab Emirates. It is examined the possibility of foil export to North Africa, India, Malaysia and other countries of the South-Eastern Asia.
