ROSUPAK - the leading exhibition of packages and packaging materials, machinery and technologies - has lately made a big progress. At the present time ROSUPAK is not only an arena of meetings of packaging market players from all over the world but also an important image-making show. The participation in ROSUPAK confers on exhibitor the status of a leader at the international market of packages, materials, technologies and machinery for packages' production.
ROSUPAK-2003 is recognized as one of worldwide famous packaging exhibitions.
ROSUPAK - some milestones:
ROSUPAK has been held since 1996. In 1998 over 40 000 professionals attended the exhibition. The exposition space increased for 12 000 sq. m. For these and other achievements ROSUPAK was awarded the Symbol of the Union of Exhibitions and Fairs of the CIS and Baltic States.
Since then the rating of ROSUPAK is constantly growing. The exhibition has currently the biggest number of awards in comparison with other shows organized by Sokolniki Culture & Exhibition Centre.
1999 - The exhibition obtained an official recognition of the International Confederation of Organizers of Packaging Exhibitions (COPE) as the key Russian packaging exhibition.
2000 - The Union des Foires Internationales (UFI) acknowledged a high level and an excellent quality of the exhibition. Rosupak organizers Sokolniki Culture & Exhibition Centre became a full member of UFI.
2000 - Rosupak organizers Sokolniki Culture & Exhibition Centre became a member of the Packaging Association of Canada, one of the oldest packaging associations in the world.
2001 - Rosupak organizers Sokolniki Culture & Exhibition Centre became a full member of WPO - World Packaging Organization that united packaging associations, regional confederations, corporations and private companies from all over the world.
2002 - Lyubov Arkhipova, Director of ROSUPAK, was elected Vice-President of the International Confederation of Organizers of Packaging Exhibitions (COPE).
At ROSUPAK-2002 the exhibition space amounted to 33 000 sq. m. The International Sokolniki Packaging Week that included ROSUPAK exhibition occupied 14 halls. About 800 companies from 30 countries took part. More than 60 000 persons attended the exposition.
EXHIBITION AND EXHIBITORS
Exhibitors highly estimate the ROSUPAK effectiveness as many professionals from various parts of Russia and abroad willing to familiarize themselves with presented up-to-date packages, packaging machinery, raw materials, technologies and services attend the show.
Nowadays the participation in ROSUPAK is an indispensable condition of successful promotion at the international market. Prizewinners of the All-Russia competition "Package - Star of Russia" that take place in ROSUPAK scope are entitled to participate in the international competition "Package - Star of World". Russian companies have excellent opportunities to conclude profitable international agreements as ROSUPAK is attended by many leading professionals from abroad.
The 5th International conference "Food packaging -2003" and other events within the business program of ROSUPAK-2003 will assist professionals in solving actual problems of the packaging industry. The Conference will highlight prospects of the international market of food and drinks' packages, packaging design, role of packaging in sales' increase, customs regulations of packages' and packaging materials' export and import, standards for packaging machinery and materials, packages' recycling etc.
