Serac offer a filling Aseptic line with the Operator located outside the sterile cabin.
On the Serac SAS 2 Aseptic filling line, for the screw cap version, the Operator is now located outside the sterile cabin.
This concept gives added space to the Operator and has a significant advantage in comparison with filling machines with the Isolator system.
From now on, the Operator runs the line from outside the clean room. The production area only is in the clean room. The Operator is no more isolated and can communicate with his colleagues. Moreover, this provides him the possibility of achieving other tasks not in connection with the machine like production statistics.
In order to intervene in the clean room without breaking the sterility, the Operator or the Maintenance personnel wears a sterile overall. This allows to re-start production immediately after the intervention. Lines with the Isolator system require several hours of sterilisation after doors have been opened. You do not have this inconvenience with the Serac concept.
