Produced by Rexam, the Skol Beats Senses beer can pioneers the use of transparent UV ink

Skol Beats Senses mild and refreshing beer is now packaged in Rexam cans. The cans feature a matt varnish coating and transparent UV ink that glows in the dark when exposed to ultraviolet light - perfect for the nighttime drinking occasion that Skol Beats aim to target with this beverage. The customisation doesn't stop there; the can also has a colour co-ordinated blue tab with a Skol arrow cutout.

"This is the first time we have used transparent UV ink in cans. The unique characteristic of this ink is that it is transparent in bright environments and is only visible when exposed to UV black light. The combination of ink, varnish and a special end makes the can even more sophisticated and unique in the market" says Bruna Resano, Rexam’s Marketing Specialist in South America.
