Atlantic Zeiser Celebrates Marking and Coding Success at Interpack 2011
The Atlantic Zeiser Group, a leading provider of technology, module and system solutions for industrial DoD digital printing, enjoyed increased demand for its range of marking and coding solutions for the pharmaceutical industry at INTERPACK 2011, Düsseldorf, Germany.
Visitors were particluarly keen to see the new OMEGA™ 20/25 printing module and a new air-cooled LED curing technology. Able to print horizontally and vertically, the printer and curing system package was designed with the special requirements of the pharmaceutical industry in mind. It features a compact design and offers powerful inline integration components for marking, coding and serialising in late-stage customisation, as well as product track & trace and anti-counterfeiting.
The company’s track and trace module also attracted a lot of interest as brand owners and manufacturers sought advice on effective and competitive solutions to increasing piracy – a worldwide problem the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) estimated annually costs companies EUR184 billion.
Ralf Hipp, Vice President Digital Printing and Coding Solutions Atlantic Zeiser, comments: “It was clear at the show that customers are looking for ways to improve security. The fact our solutions can easily and seamlessly slot into any production line to provide clear product identification and traceability will help make that investment easier. With profit margins under increasing pressure product protection has never been so important which is why more and more brand owners and manufacturers are putting this issue at the top of their agendas.”
