Amcor Showcases Amcor BrightSide with a Win at Interpack

Amcor is proud to introduce Amcor BrightSide, a flow wrap for confectionery products with a unique pack-front, open and close feature.

Showcased today at Interpack, Europe’s largest packaging exhibition, the new concept received an International Forum Design (iF) Award in the Packaging Concepts category for its unique and innovative characteristics.

Amcor BrightSide’s innovative feature appeals to the increased market demand for multi-usage packs. Brand owners benefit from a clean opening which prolongs the pack design integrity allowing improved brand attractiveness and awareness. As a result of the special seal design and technology, the consumer benefits from easy-to-open and reclosable features which allow direct access to the product from the top of the pack. This makes it ideal for chocolate bars, wafers and countline products.

Co-developed with Bosch Packaging Systems, this innovative packaging concept is suitable for monostructure films and uses a unique combination of lacquers. “We are delighted by the success Amcor BrightSide has already achieved which pays testament to our strong collaboration with Bosch Packaging Systems whose minor packaging line upgrade (HFFS) provides the pack-front seal on the flow wrap,” says Bertrand Daru, Market and Business Strategy, Confectionery and Tobacco, Amcor Flexibles Europe & Americas.
