Interpack 2011: Highlights from the Superfos stand

The interpack trade fair in Germany from 12 to 18 May 2011 is the perfect setting for getting properly acquainted with a range of amazing plastic packaging solutions and methods.

One of the highlights of the Superfos stand is a demonstration filling line arranged for the purpose of the trade fair. Group Product Manager Birthe Bebe Nielsen from Superfos says: “To showcase how easy and silent the filling of SuperLock is, we bring along a live demonstration of a filling line. Several times a day at our stand D21 in Hall 10, the equipment lent to us by Grunwald will clearly demonstrate that the filling of both hot and cold food into SuperLock is uncomplicated.”

SuperLock has a screw on lid that ensures perfect re-closure and re-use and offers food products a shelf life of up to 24 months. It has barrier protection on all surfaces and a membrane sealing and the filling process is straightforward.

A range of segments have already embraced the versatile packaging. On shelf in different parts of Europe you will find for instance fruit pulp, salted and sweet nuts and sandwich filling packed in SuperLock.

Superfos also gives you the opportunity to experience its latest advances in co-injection methods which make it possible to apply more recycled materials. Further, you could take a look at the new Paintainer generation which offers outstanding tightness and plenty of headspace which is important when you transport liquids such as wood protective coatings.

In fact, both the new Paintainer and the co-injection method have entered the competition for the iF gold award for outstanding achievement.

Since the beginning of this year Superfos has become part of the RPC Group. Based on a solid common understanding of what high quality in production and service means, the new RPC Superfos cluster will strive to be a preferred packaging supplier for the food and non-food markets. The RPC stand is at E14 - F13 in hall 9, while Superfos is to be found at stand D21 in Hall 10.
