Kloeckner Pentaplast takes over sales and distribution for its unprinted PET mono- and multi-layer rigid films in the German market from Bemis Packaging Deutschland GmbH

The Klöckner Pentaplast Group announced today that it has taken over the sales and distribution for its unprinted polyester (PET) mono- and multi-layer rigid films in the German market from reseller Bemis Packaging Deutschland GmbH (Meckenheim, Germany) for an undisclosed sum effective March 31, 2011.

Unprinted PET mono- and multi-layer rigid films are used primarily in food applications. Bemis Packaging Deutschland had been the reseller for the Klöckner Pentaplast’s products in the German market for over 20 years. Bemis will continue to sell its own flexible film product lines and special rigid films in the German market through Bemis Packaging Deutschland.
