Upakovka/Upak Italia' 2011 welcomes experts of the field

On January 25 the 19th International Specialized Exhibition Upakovka/Upak Italia' 2011 opened its doors in Pavilion No. 2 (Halls 1, 2, 3) of Expocentre Fairgrounds.

The exhibition is co-organized by Messe Dьsseldorf GmbH and Messe Dьsseldorf Moscow, OOO in cooperation with the Italian partner Centrexpo and in association with Expocentre.

Upakovka/Upak Italia is the largest in Russia exhibition for packaging technologies and machinery. The exhibition is notable for its wide thematic range and representative international participants' structure. On the Upakovka/Upak Italia'2011 exhibition area of over 5,000 sq. m more than 300 companies from 17 countries showcase their innovative solutions in the field of machinery and equipment for packaging, packaging equipment and materials, machinery for production and packaging of confectionery, auxiliary packaging means, tare and logistics.

German and Italian manufacturers are traditionally widely represented at the exhibition. Among them are such enterprises as Bosch, ER-WE-PA GmbH, Krones, Schubert and Theegarten-Pactec from Germany, Italian companies Bielloni Converting, Omet, Sacmi, SMI spa and Uteco. Germany, France and Italy present their national displays within the exhibition. The Russian exhibitors' structure has been essentially afforced as well.

At the exhibition Business center there is a Contacts exchange. At the Contacts exchange they place the related proposals of interest among experts of the field, including those for searching business partners. There is also a Labour exchange offering a review of the packaging industry open vacancies.

Within the Upakovka/Upak Italia'2011 exhibition there will be held a one-day workshop for experts of the Russian packaging industry. The workshop is devoted to current trends of the industry development.

The Upakovka/Upak Italia'2011 exhibition is open till January 28, 2011.
