Ilim Group manufactures over 1,800,000 tons of pulp and paper products
Over the nine months of 2010 Ilim Group’s mills have produced 1,836,000 tons of pulp and paper products. This is 7% above the performance over the similar period in 2009.
This includes 1,165,000 tons of market pulp, which is a 9% percent increase from the first 9 months of 2009.
Board production has gained 5%, going up to 522,000 tons. Paper output amounted to 149,000 tons, which is 2% less than in the first three quarters of the previous year.
Mr. Paul Herbert, Chief Executive Officer of Ilim Group, comments on the nine-month performance results: «We are currently experiencing conditions conducive to maximizing our production output: the effects of the crisis are becoming less evident, the markets are recovering. Ilim Group’s performance fully reflects this trend».
