Toray Plastics Inc. to showcase innovations at Pack Expo International 2010

Leading-edge polypropylene, polyester, and metallized film innovations that will engage and inspire consumer product goods manufacturers and converters will be showcased by Toray Plastics (America), Inc., during PACK EXPO International 2010.

Visitors to Toray’s booth, #2935, will discover a new line of metallized heat-sealable polypropylene white cavitated films for use in snack food, confectionery, ice cream, and industrial applications and new TreaTear™ polypropylene directional-tear sealant films for retort and non-retort gusseted and non-gusseted pouch applications. They will also learn about advancements in polyester lidding films; metallized PET; low COF clear-barrier polypropylene film for PVdC replacement; PWX5, a heat-sealable metallized BOPP, and ultrathin and bio-based films. In addition, Toray will share its knowledge about the distinct advantages to be gained in partnering with a single-source provider.
