TricorBraun Designs New Bottle for Green Groom

Pet groomers now have an opportunity to become part of the sustainability transformation with Green Groom, a new line of nine environmentally-responsible products sold through distributors.

Green Groom PCR-PET BottlesTricorBraun Design and Engineering supplied Senproco, Inc., the Green Groom manufacturer, with a custom-design for a pinched-waist, cylindrical bottle.

The white, 16-ounce PCR-PET bottle is silkscreened to avoid the environmental impact caused by the glue that holds the label to the container, and features a faux acid embellishment that has never before been applied to PET. The faux acid decoration had been used only for glass until this application.

A polypropylene disk-type closure is applied to a 28-mm neck finish and oriented to the front.

The closure’s uniform positioning helps the groomer pick up the bottle with the correct orientation while the pinched waist prevents “wet hands fumbles.”

TricorBraun provided bottles for nine Green Groom products. The balance of the Green Groom especially-formulated conditioners and shampoos, are sold in one-gallon jugs and five-gallon pails.
