Russia: VolgaStrap increases the production volume

On the 15th of June The Governor of Kostroma region Igor Slunaev had a meeting with Erik Helin President of SPECTA group and Andrey Annoyarov General Director of "VolgaStrap" . During the meeting they discussed the plant production possibilities and business forecast for the future.

"VolgaStrap" Ltd, part of SPECTA group, was put into operation in Kostroma two years ago. This is the first domestic enterprise that started production of high tensile steel strap applying innovative technologies. Today VolgaStrap steel strap is in great demand in all regions of Russia from western borders to the Siberia. It is widely used for strapping different industrial products in metal, sawmill and construction industries."In spite of the crisis we did not reduce the personnel and managed to keep all our qualified specialists.

Today VolgaStrap expands the strap assortment and starts moving to foreign markets. By the end of the year we are planning to triple the strap production." — said Erik Helin.
