RPC beauty expert Gerald Martines moves to Rexam

Rexam has announced that Gerald Martines has made the move from rival RPC to join its team as director of new product development and innovation for cosmetic packaging.

The role has been created for him at the company, where he will specialise in creating packaging developed for colour cosmetic and make-up products, and closures for fragrances.

With this appointment Rexam is aiming to increase its focus on packaging innovation, which it believes will be the driving force behind industry growth, especially in the current economic conditions.

Martines has spent one year as business development manager at RPC and before that worked for Crown Ridson’s fragrance packaging division, before RPC took it over in 2006.
