Thierry Tomasov becomes CEO of Veriplast

Thierry Tomasov, 41 years old, is the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Veriplast, a leading manufacturer of packaging solutions.

Thierry Tomasov’s industry expertise together with his high-level management experience will help to advance the success of Veriplast. In his previous position as President of the Beverage Closures Division at Global Closures Systems, one of the world’s leading providers of closure solutions for fast moving consumer products, Thierry Tomasov acquired an extensive knowledge of the packaging business and became a well known industry expert.

He worked for 12 years for Arjowiggins – manufacturer of technical and creation papers – where he contributed significantly to the company becoming the industry’s worldwide leader. In 2002, Thierry Tomasov was appointed CEO of the Coated Papers Division and, two years later, promoted to CEO of the group’s largest division, the Art & Creativity Branch. Here, within a period of two years, he successfully developed a strategic growth plan, redefined as well as implemented an industrial plan and put into action several efficiency improvement strategies. Thierry Tomasov gained his first work experience as Project Manager at Euro Disney.

Thierry Tomasov holds an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Paris, one of France’s top engineering schools.
