A new Bigwig brand for poultry products

ORGANICA design consultancy, one of the leading strategic brand consulting and design firms created the visual identity for the Bigwig brand (translated directly from the similar Russian expression — “An Important Bird”).

Bigwig is specially created for the chickens-broilers meat from own integrated poultry farms Novgorod and Pskov areas. Chickens-broilers of cross-country «pureline» are rich with fillet content low fat. Under the Bigwig trade mark is presented a wide assortment of poultry products: a whole chicken and a range of cooled semi finished items.



The design stems from the understanding of a product “premium” quality. ORGANICA worked closely with the Rubeg brand team to develop a clear brand architecture system and unique brand positioning for the Bigwig, opening the brand up to opportunities for growth outside its current portfolio and laying strong foundations for the future success of the Bigwig.

The new brand identity developed by ORGANICA supports the organic nature of the product line. White and green displayed on the package suggests all-natural organic content and high-level taste expectations. The use of a deep red color provides connection to the meat processing, while the light grey and green complements contemporize and freshen. The typography reinforces these themes while communicating a “professional” image.
