LyondellBasell opens new sales office in Slovakia

LyondellBasell Industries has opened a sales office in Bratislava, Slovakia to better serve its polyethylene, polypropylene and advanced polyolefin customers in the growing Central and Southern European region.

“We have been operating in the region through a strong network of sales agents,” said Nick Stoydin, head of the new Bratislava office. “But due to the high growth of our business, especially in key markets such as automotive, pipe and packaging, we needed to strengthen our presence by establishing LyondellBasell sales and customer service operations.”

In addition to Slovakia, the Bratislava office will also serve polypropylene, polyethylene and advanced polyolefin customers in the region, mainly in Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovenia, as well as advanced polyolefin customers in Poland

In Poland, polypropylene and polyethylene customers will continue to be served by Basell Orlen Polyolefin Sprzedaz, a commissionaire of Basell Sales&Marketing Company B.V. (a LyondellBasell Industries company).
