Crown Names New President of U.S. Aerosol Packaging Business

Crown Holdings, Inc. announced that James D. Wilson has been promoted to President, CROWN Aerosol Packaging USA. He will report to Raymond L. McGowan, President of Crown's North American Packaging business.

Mr. Wilson is being promoted from his current position as Vice President, Sales & Marketing for Crown's U.S. Food Packaging business. Before joining Crown in 2003, Mr. Wilson was General Manager of Laminated and Printed Products at Alcoa where he led the business to substantial growth.

"With nearly 25 years of experience in the packaging industry, Jim is well equipped to lead our Aerosol Packaging business in the years to come," says McGowan. "His record of successful management and forward thinking will enable him to develop strong customer relationships and work with them to leverage Crown's advanced aerosol packaging technologies, innovation skills and value-added services to build their brands."

Mr. Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science degree from California State Polytechnic University and a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. Most recently, he completed executive development training at the Center for Creative Leadership in Greenville, NC.
