Nampak recycled HDPE bottles win Gold Packaging Award

The ground breaking project to develop recycled high-density polyethylene(HDPE) milk bottles, delivered by the core project team of Nampak, Nextek, WRAP and Dairy Crest , has won the Starpack Gold award for the Best Use of an Innovative Material , as well as a Bronze award for the Best Innovation to Reduce Waste.
James Crick , Commercial Director , added "This proven technology will significantly enhance the future of the plastics recycling in the UK . We belive that milk bottles containing recycled plastic will become the widely practised and innovative method used to improve the environmental footprint of plastic milk bottles"
