Alcan Packaging introduces a new pouch with closure for "Daddy Sucre"

Revolutionary on the market: the traditional sugar carton is replaced by a stand up pouch with a closure.
Some of the many advantages of this new packaging product are its easy opening and closure, its easy pouring and its seal. The format is also much more consumer friendly and it better protects and conserves its contents. Furthermore the transparent package makes it easier to follow ones sugar consumption.
Once empty, its size can be easily reduced by folding the packaging, which saves a considerable amount of space in the garbage.
Alcan Packaging developed the PET/PE laminate. This new product was launched in France in early 2007 by Sucre Union.
