PepsiСo builds large factory near Moscow

PepsiCo Inc is building its sixth factory in Russia. New factory, which is going to be located near Moscow, will be one of the largest PepsiCo factories in Eastern Europe, company spokesman Alexander Chalnev said.
Construction of the factory is due to be completed in August, and it will occupy a surface area of 25 hectares, citing Natalia Polukhina from the group Evrazia Logistik. The factory will be built on Evrazia's land. Investments in the factory will be between 40-60 mln usd.
The factory will produce 2 bln litres of soft drinks per year, according to a source close to the deal.
