Dispensing accuracy for drink concentrate

The accurate dosing of two dispensers from Rieke Packaging Systems Englass were key to their selection by leading Swiss sports nutrition manufacturer WinForce for the dispensing of its ‘all natural’ isotonic drink Isotone. Isotone – available in pomegranate-lime and lemon-juniper flavours - contains no additives, such as stabilisers, preservatives or sweeteners. The product is diluted with water and WinForce required an effective means of measuring the correct amount of concentrate in order to make up the drink for 750ml sports drinking bottles.

The RS10 dispenser has been selected for the 1 litre plastic bottle while the Englass 30 is being used for large 12 litre canisters used in sports clubs and gyms.

The RS10 delivers an accurate 10ml dose, requiring just four actuations to dispense the recommended amount for a 750ml bottle. The 10ml dose also gives users the flexibility to vary the amount of product slightly according to individual taste.

The two-piece head design offers ease of use and allows vertical discharge into the bottle, while a unique valve design ensures a clean nozzle after each dispense. The Englass 30 offers similar user-friendly benefits and its strength and durability are ideal for the long-life requirements of the larger container.
