Sibur Holding to construct PVC plant in Nizhny Novgorod region

On June 28, 2006 SIBUR holding presented to heads of the Nizhny Novgorod region (Russia) a draft project of PVC plant on the basis of its SIBUR-Neftekhim.The company expects investments in the project to total $7.5bln, the plant will produce 330,000 tonnes of PVC per year. The company plans to start construction in 2008 and commission it in 3Q-4Q 2010.
