Russian-Italian blister foil conforming to GMP
At Pharmtech & Ingredients 2018, managers of the leading Russian and localized subsidiaries of the world pharmaceutical corporations conducted negotiations on supplies of primary packaging produced in accordance with GMP requirements. The discussion was attended by Johannes Piesslinger, the CEO of Aluberg – one of the biggest European manufacturers of foil in certified clean room.
– One of the Russian pharmaceutical industry leaders and a client of Packaging Factory MILK audited us in August this year, – said manager of Aluberg. – It was the first time when a Russian company audited our abidance by the international standards applicable to production of pharmaceutical packaging. The auditor marked high speed of providing requested documents. We wait for this customer to open for a long-term mutually profitable partnership. Generally speaking, over a year of cooperation with Packaging Factory MILK, a number of clients of Russian enterprise have switched to our foil. This is a positive trend for the Russian market in general – a gradual preference of packaging produced in strict conditions of controlling microbiologic index of material that contacts with pharmaceuticals rather than of a cheap one.
Audits of Packaging Factory MILK by three transnational corporations at once are planned in this December and in 2019. Aluberg is already their approved supplier. According to the audit results, partners will be able to supply co-produced blister foil to the Russian subdivisions of the global giants.
As to Aluberg itself, the company aims to develop the pharmaceutical market in China after getting a CFDA certificate this year.
