OMET launch the new CI flexo station for tissue printing

The next-generation central impression flexo printing press with automatic pressure adjustment introducing avant-garde technology into tissue printing.

Through continual research, OMET keeps on introducing new tissue converting machine technologies in order to improve performance, increase efficiency and standardise production processes.

The new OMET central impression printing station aim at modernizing the world of tissue printing, thanks to its fully automatic adjustment system, notably reducing start up time as well as being able to complete a job changeover, in a quick and easy way, through digital controls. Thanks to the independent motorisation of its components, OMET’s central impression printing station can easily control and manage paper stretching issues, adjusting the print length through skipping operations. This means a greater possibility for intervention and total control for the operator, with consequent refinement of the printing precision.

Furthermore, this new flexo station introduces the concept of repeatability of the jobs, thanks to the adoption of the RFID system applied to the sleeves,. This means it is possible to store the machine settings for a specific job and then automatically replicate them for later jobs, eliminating waste and production start-up time.
