Cardia Bioplastics Wins $500K Hygiene Products Contract for American Market

Cardia Bioplastics is pleased to announce that it has been awarded an annual supply contract worth at least US$500,000 a year for hygiene films made using Cardia Biohybrid™ technology. Cardia signed the supply deal with a leading American diaper products company.

Using the hygiene films made from Cardia Biohybrid™ technology, the American diaper products company (which cannot be named due to commercial sensitivity) now offers an environmentally sensitive diaper that uses less petroleum-based and more sustainable materials. In order to complete the product offering, the diapers are packed in an outer packaging also made using Cardia Biohybrid™ technology.

The combination of film packaging with performance, environmental profile, soft touch, matt finish, excellent printability and cost effectiveness makes Cardia Biohybrid™ technology a most interesting product offering to the global hygiene and personal care products industry.

Cardia Bioplastics will supply the Cardia Biohybrid™ hygiene films from its Nanjing, China based film manufacturing plant.
