DuPont™ Surlyn® - a perfect combination of transparency and squeezability

Extrusion blow-mould lip-gloss tubes, manufactured by the German company Weckerle Cosmetics for top cosmetic brands such as Avon, benefit from the unique combination of properties presented by DuPont™ Surlyn®: as well as perfect transparency to enable the perfect expression of the distinctive color and effect of the lip-gloss while still within the tube, its soft squeezability ensures controlled dispensing of the product upon use.

The high-gloss finish of the tube and warm and sensual touch lend to the luxury appearance of the product - at the same time, product integrity is ensured thanks to the toughness and high chemical resistance of Surlyn®. Finally, the material's excellent blow molding properties enable its use on existing equipment and with fewer manufacturing defects than may be encountered with competitive materials such as polyethylene.
