Takaaki Takeuchi elected as new AEROBAL President

Takaaki Takeuchi, Managing Director of Alucon Public Co. Ltd., has been elected as President of the International Organisation of Aluminium Aerosol Container Manufacturers (AEROBAL).

In his inaugural address Mr. Takeuchi said, “Innovation in can design, improved productivity and sustainability in can production are the key challenges of the industry and will therefore continue to be at the top of the agenda of AEROBAL members. With an average worldwide market growth of 9 percent in the last six years, the aluminium aerosol can industry has proven its sustained dynamism. It is very much likely that this positive trend is going to continue this year because on average order intakes have been growing by two-digit figures in the first semester of 2011.”
