This dark beer, brewed in the best Czech traditions, is made from selected pale, caramel, and black malts. Zatecky Gus is produced with use of the famous Saaz hops, which has grown in the region around the city of Žatec in the north of the Czech Republic for over 700 years.
Saaz hops is known as one of the finest quality hops in the world, and Žatec is often called the world capital of hops.
