Directorate change to Rexam Board

Rexam, the global consumer packaging company, announces that Bill Barker, Executive Board Director and Group Director Beverage Cans, is to step down from the Board with immediate effect following a streamlining of the global Beverage Can leadership and will leave the company at the end of February 2009.

Leslie Van de Walle, Rexam's CEO, will assume direct responsibility for Rexam's global beverage can business.

Bill joined Rexam in 2001 as head of Beverage Cans North America and became a Board Director in 2004. He will be returning to live in the US.
